
John was born in Logansport, Indiana and has spent most of his life in Southern California. As a graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, he has a B.A. in Economics. In addition, he also holds a law degree from the UCLA School of Law and a Masters of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management.
Presently working as an executive in an Orange County based company, John has previously worked at Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies, and has served in a variety of roles, including General Counsel and as a corporate officer. While in private practice, John represented clients before various government agencies at the federal, state and local level.

John is married to Rochelle Alpay, a lifelong resident of south Orange County and graduate of Capistrano Valley High School. Together, John and Rochelle have three children, Autumn, Saige and Logan.
